Since when aged eight, Rosemary had quite a natural talent of sneaking, stealing and escaping. Although she used such skills for her own benefit a few times, the main use was to payback mean kids at school. At the age of 14, her life changed when she visited a Renaissance fair. Just for fun, she decided to have a fortune-telling. Very shocked, the gypsy told that Rosemary was an actual descendant of the legendary Robin Hood, and according to her destiny sooner or later she'd have to give continuity to his legacy. At first, Rosemary didn't give any matter to that talk. However, the more the years passed, the more Rosemary saw herself forced to do just what her famous ancestor used to do best: steal from the rich and mighty to give to the poor people, even to help her own family. So she started fighting bourgeoisie once her efforts became so appreciated among humble and injusticed people. She was becoming a popular urban heroine. One day, a mysterious scientist called Dr. Ramirez kidnapped her, but later explained he wasn't evil: he was actually a member of a secret society of scientist which deals with any stuff science avoids or prohibits. He wanted to testify that she was actually a descendant of Robin Hood, and after a long, unusual DNA test he confirmed that. She then decided to adopt a name to carry the heroic legacy. After some brainstoring and a list of options, she decided "Raven Hood" would do it better. Since then, whenever she goes, she fights burguoisie with all of her inherited abilities. She ran into the 'Main Four' thanks to Dr. Ramirez recommend her looking for the group someday, being sure they'd identify with each other and make a great heroic alliance.


Raven Hood doesn't have the best martial arts skills, just some basic self-defense knowledge. But with any melee weapons or specially with guns she can take good care of herself, although she always prefer to use non-lethal bullets. She's the very peppy optimistic kind, friendly, willing, easily excited about anything. But she doesn't hide any bad emotions - she can also be easily seen worried, feared, crying. She likes to try things for herself without any previous warning, but that doesn't mean she doesn't value her friends or allies.

Recognize her? Yes, it's that girl from the continuous animation sample, although that color scheme back then weren't too exact (but then again, with an image tool with just four possible colors what could one expect? ).

Raven Hood is another OC from the past, like the Yongqi sisters. Originally, I created her specifically for a single story in an old homemade comix of mine, where Charles, Ivan, Kelly and Jessica goes to Scotland to help a friend scientist in a big research to analyze a possible proof of the existence of Loch Ness Monster, and they run up on Raven Hood, finding her being tickle-tortured in the dungeon of an abandoned castle ruins accused from stealing a big amount of money from a powerful no-good baron.

This time, though, I decided to bring her back as a permanent OC. Just like Sue and Zoe, I also changed her look here and there.
